The objective of Polytechnic University(Kyaing Tong) is to generate capable professionals who can assist the country in achieving a technologically sophisticated future.

Polytechnic University(Kyaing Tong) applicants must meet the following requirements.

• A total of 280 students will be admitted, 160 of whom will be admitted to engineering courses (60 percent male and 40 percent female), and 120 of whom will be admitted to computer science and computer technology courses.
• Students who successfully complete the five-year engineering program will immediately receive a B.E. degree.
• Students who successfully complete the four-year computer science and computer technology curriculum will immediately receive their B.C.Sc. and B.C.Tech. degrees.

Students who meet the prerequisites will receive the following degrees in the specialized fields.
